How to make a complaint

You can also message us on WhatsApp, but please follow up by email if the matter is serious so that we both have a clear record.

  • Email: info@howlpestcontrol.co.uk — the best route, as it gives us a written record.
  • Telephone: +44 7444 483384.
  • Post: HOWL Pest Control Ltd, 101 Arundel Ave, Liverpool, L17 2AT, United Kingdom.

What to include

  • Your name, telephone number and email address.
  • The property address or postcode where the work was carried out.
  • The date or dates of the visit, and the technician's name if you know it.
  • A clear description of what went wrong.
  • Any photographs, invoices, quotes or messages that help explain the problem.
  • What you would like us to do to put it right.

Acknowledgement

We aim to acknowledge every complaint within 3 working days of receiving it, confirming who is dealing with it and what we will do next.

Investigation and internal review

We review the job records, treatment notes and any photographs, and speak to the technician who attended. If we need more information from you, or if it would help to inspect the property again, we will arrange that at a time that suits you.

Our response

We aim to give a full written response within 14 working days. If the matter is complex and we need longer, we will tell you why and give you a revised date.

Our response will explain what we found, what we are prepared to do — for example a further visit, re-treatment, a price adjustment or a refund where appropriate — and the reasons for our decision.

If you are not satisfied

If you are unhappy with our response, reply and ask for the matter to be reviewed again by the business owner. We will look at it afresh and confirm our final position in writing.

HOWL Pest Control Ltd is not currently a member of an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme, so we cannot refer your complaint to one.

If we cannot resolve matters between us, you can seek independent advice from Citizens Advice consumer service on 0808 223 1133 or at citizensadvice.org.uk. Your right to take legal action in the courts of England and Wales is unaffected.

Complaints about your personal data

If your complaint is about how we have handled your personal data, contact Mohammed Aljoby at info@howlpestcontrol.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

How we use complaints

We record every complaint and its outcome so we can spot patterns and improve. Complaint records are kept in line with the retention periods set out in our Privacy Notice. Last updated: August 2026.
