Quotes and pricing
- Quotes are free and are based on the information you give us and, where applicable, an on-site survey.
- We will always tell you whether a price is a fixed price, a starting price, an estimate or a full quote before you commit.
- A quote is valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise in writing.
- HOWL Pest Control Ltd is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.
- There are no hidden charges. If the work required changes once we are on site, we will explain this and agree any revised price with you before continuing.
- Where a cancellation or no-access charge could apply, we will tell you the basis for it before you are bound by the contract.
Appointments and access
- You must provide safe access to the areas that need treating at the agreed time.
- Please tell us in advance about children, pets, livestock, vulnerable occupants, allergies or health conditions at the property, so we can plan the treatment safely.
- Please follow any preparation instructions we give you before the visit. If preparation has not been done, treatment may not be possible or effective.
- If we attend and cannot gain access or cannot carry out the agreed service, a reasonable charge may apply where we told you about it beforehand.
Carrying out the work
Pest control is a process rather than a single event. Many problems need more than one visit, and results depend in part on following the preparation, prevention and aftercare advice we give you.
We will explain the treatment, the products being used and any safety precautions, including any period during which a room or the property should not be used. Product safety information is available on request.
Our technicians hold RSPH and Level 2 pest control qualifications relevant to the work they carry out.
3-month guarantee and free re-treatment
We intend to stand behind our work with a 3-month guarantee. Where the guarantee applies, we will return and re-treat free of charge if the original problem persists or returns within that period.
This is not a promise that a property will be completely free of pests for three months. Pest activity is affected by conditions we do not control.
- The guarantee applies only to the services and pests we confirm as eligible when we quote for the work.
- You must follow the treatment, preparation and prevention instructions we give you.
- Conditions at the property — including proofing, structural defects, sanitation, waste storage and food availability — can affect the outcome.
- A new infestation, or activity from a different pest species, is not covered.
- Activity originating from neighbouring properties, shared drainage or communal areas may not be covered.
- We may inspect the property before deciding whether re-treatment falls within the guarantee.
- The guarantee is in addition to, and does not remove or limit, your statutory rights as a consumer.
Your rights if something goes wrong
If you are a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires us to carry out the service with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time, and for a reasonable price where no price was agreed. If we do not, you may be entitled to have the service repeated or to a price reduction. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
Payment
- Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed account terms in writing.
- Commercial contract clients are invoiced in line with the agreed schedule.
- There is no online payment system on this website; payment is arranged directly with us by normal business payment methods.
- We may charge statutory interest on business invoices that are paid late.
Insurance and liability
We will put right any damage we cause through our negligence. We are not liable for pre-existing damage or defects, for damage caused by the pests themselves, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Where you are a business customer, our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the price paid for that service, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
Cancellation, rescheduling, no-access charges and refunds are covered in full on our Cancellation & Refunds page, including your 14-day statutory cancellation rights where they apply.
Complaints
If something is not right, please contact us at info@howlpestcontrol.co.uk or on +44 7444 483384. Our complaints process explains what happens next.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Last updated: August 2026.
